Let’s say you’re already an epoxy guy. Think about what you do better than your competition. Are you great at making custom patterns or installing epoxy over counter tops?
If you don’t know what that is, think about the projects you’ve done in the past few years. Creating a niche is about highlighting what you’re already doing. If you’re new in the business and really can’t think of anything, keep your eyes peeled. You might come across a new or challenging project and find out that’s your thing by the time you’re done.
Remember, you’ll will always be learning and finding new techniques. Your niche today will probably change down the road as your business and skills evolve.
