In What Situations Will MuscleGloss Not Adhere to a Concrete Floor?

  • In what situations would MuscleGloss not adhere to a concrete floor?
  • Foreign substances saturated within the concrete will interfere with the bond between the floor and the epoxy. Existing coatings that aren’t adhering properly to the floor will cause the epoxy to not adhere to the floor. If our epoxy is placed over an existing coating it will bond with that coating rather than the concrete. Once the first coating begins to lift, our epoxy will lift with it. New and smooth concrete will create a lack of adhesion because the epoxy has nothing to bond to. New concrete needs to cure for at least 30 days before our epoxy will adhere to it.
