4 Facebook Tips


Some of you already have a Facebook page. You may already get some likes on your posts from time to time, but maybe you’re not sure how to use Facebook to generate leads for yourself. With just a little time and effort you can use your Facebook page as an effective tool for reaching potential clients!

Here are a few tips for setting up and using your Facebook page.

Optimize your business page

If you do not already have one, you must first create a business page. You can create an account that is solely for your business or tie your business page into your personal account.

When you create your business page you should add a profile picture. Once your page is complete you will be able to upload a cover photo. No page is finished without a few good photos! You also will want to add information to the about me section of your page. Be sure to add your location, contact info, and hours. Remember that potential clients may find you through your Facebook page” make it easy for them to pick up the phone and call you!

Find your audience

Social media is all about networking and engaging with your community. Seek out other businesses in your area and current or former clients. Add links to your Facebook page on your site, in your email signature, or even send out an email invitation to actively announce you have a Facebook page. You can also buy ads on Facebook.

Use photos

Photos get the most attention on Facebook. Incorporate photos into your posts wherever you can! Get into the habit of taking pictures of every job you do and post them to your Facebook wall.

Give your customers helpful information

Mix in some helpful information to share with your customers. This will help you build your reputation as a knowledgeable and caring professional.
